When I was a kid I’d sneak into my dad’s office to read his graphic novels. Those books were a form of escapism, exposing me to countless visually distinct worlds that I could lose myself into.

That early fascination with sequential storytelling has informed why I do motion design. What excites me about this field are the endless possibilities in style and sources of inspiration. Whether I’m working with branding, illustration, photography or animation, I get to escape into what I design, much like when I was younger.

I am Ella Caperton, a Motion Designer based in LA.
